Putting LED fender flares (Rubi/Sahara) on Sport S model

You will need programming to get the DRL function on, but it won't show the white lights. It will only show amber.

There is a wire missing on the sport models that should power the DRL, you could try poking around and splicing, but yea, the DRL/park lamp will not function as a DRL on the sport even with DRL enabled.

But he's buying production LED fender flares which would have the wire.

It would, from the harness up to the bulb, but the body side harness up to that pigtail that is connected to the new lights still doesnt have that wire. Its entirely missing.

At least one person not on this thread said it does. It just lacks a connection to the fender light. Let's hope they weren't blowing smoke but they probably were.

shows the BCM to DRL wires as Premium. And that's if I'm even looking at it right.

Ah, they sent the wrong ones. Good thing Ive had a few drinks already or I would be pissed. Come on @MoparOnlinePrts.

Ill be honest, I had a feeling with the hoildays that they would do that (MY LED lights came broken this summer so I had to wait on another pair then also).

I guess quality inspection is taking this week off :P

I guess the good thing is that i noticed it before I put them on, lol. I saw where one guy already installed then found out (But i dont think he ordered from the same place i did).
