I need to get my hood repainted again so I can put this back on. But this is the last time it had stickers on the hood.

i did bronze/black hood decal, and fender vent decal and really like it. still have to do something with the tow hooks though. I did paint my red dash orange and it looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better ill add some pics to this thread later.

looks a little red in the pic, but, its definitely orange. lol. yes, i removed the panels, clean lightly sand, primer, lightly sand, color then clear. I painted my speedo and tach trim rings gloss black as opposed to keeping the stock silver trim. really happy with how it came out.

fyi you dont have to pull the radio all the way out. i did not on either of the 2 that i did.
and honestly i think holding the parts while you paint is a better option, the cardboard could have dust/dirt on it and that could kick up into your paint. Plus that allows you to not get over spray on the other piece.
