Any tips on pulling just the drivers side door off and storing it in the vehicle for short trips? No damage is the goal.

Get a heavy duty moving blanket, fold the rear seats down, fit the blanket in back (folding it as needed) and lay the door on top.

On this note, Home depot charges like 15-20$ for the same extra large blanket that harbor freight has for 5$, but harbor freight is way better. I have several harbor freight blankets but loan them out all the time because they're 5$.

One day I needed one for some stuff from home depot and didn't have one with me, so just picked one up while I was there to save the trip. Thing was awful compared to my harbor freight blankets.
