This is a bit unusual and a loooooooong shot, but here goes...

I'm selling my PSC Overlander kit for $1,000 + your take-offs. I don't care what version of steering box.

Background:
I had the PSC Overlander kit installed on my JLR on November 25, 2019 in an attempt to fix my steering. The kit did remove the play as expected. Unfortunately, I still have a lot of wandering and sought a buyback from FCA. Shockingly, I won the arbitration hearing and was awarded a buyback! However, I need to return it to stock.

If you're interested in the PSC kit and live near Sacramento, we can meet up at a shop and do the swap. The $1,000 I'm asking for the kit should cover my labor costs (I'll cover any overage), so you can use your credit card at the shop for the $1,000 and whatever install costs are for the kit on your JL.

I'm considering this shop: https://chopshopoffroad.com, but am open to ideas.

You will need to have a Tazer at the time of installation: https://www.zautomotive.com/product/tazer-jl/

And yes, I have the sticker, too :).

Edit to add that this kit only works for the 3.6 engine.

Just curious, why don't you have any of the stock parts to put back on it? I thought these PSC kits were the fail-safe fix for the wandering/loose steering. It's discerning that it didn't fix yours completely. Were all your other steering components (track bar, drag link, tie rod, etc) all stock?

Because I was stupid and didn’t keep them. I’m kicking myself now.

The PSC fixed my excessive play, which was around 3”. The wandering is still bad—enough so that the arbitrator made note of it in his decision to award me a complete buyback/replacement.

We tried the kit because every other report was positive for fixing steering issues, including wandering. Once it was clear that mine wasn’t doing so well, I filed for the lemon law arbitration. I was shocked that I won.

I have the SS track bar, Mopar LCAs, and the Falcon 2.2 stabilizer. All components have been checked for torque, alignment checked...

I’m really hopeful that the replacement will be good.

Julie, were are you getting the OEM steering system? From dealer? What are they charging for that?

you ever get this sorted out? I just installed my kit, everything survived except one of the lines, if you still need stock parts. I lost patience and cut one of them. I am in San Diego.
