Teraflex recently revised their installation instruction, highlighting you need to use red loctitie or similar thread lockers on bracket bolts to axle.

There are reports that the bracket can come loose in extreme use condition.
Uhhg. So I had the 2.1 version installed about 3 months ago. Do I have to go back to the dealer and get it looked at ? Any idea ?

The 2.1 uses the same Teraflex bracket to mount it, so yes.

If you dont want to go back to the dealer, you can double check the torque on those bolts yourself every oil change you get. Parts coming loose and causing damage can be remidied by loctite, but regular checks are the only foolproof way.
