Proximity Entry Sensor .....can it be added later?

I have the chance to get my Rubicon this week without ordering but absent proximity entry kit....anyone know if it can be added later? Wife seems to see this as required...

Mine didn’t have it but I didn’t want to reorder. Wish I had it, my parts guy at jeep said it can’t be added to a Cherokee as of now so he is doubtful. Not getting my hopes up but never know

I doubt it would be able to be added. I know the door handles are different and I’m sure there’s quite a few other items needed as well.

Not necessarily, but the 124 page thread in the DIY section should be easily searchable for a new owner, or someone looking for an upgrade.
