Wow, go away for awhile and the community figures it out and gets it done! Great Job to all and to Etch! I have all the parts installed and now I can program the jeep myself when amazon gets the cable and bluetooth OBD2 delivered.

Btw, I saw a few pages back that sport owners were asking about the antennas maybe not being in their jeep. I took a passive entry handle apart before installing it. The handle IS THE ANTENNA. Hope this helps some folks Thanks again everyone!

On the online parts dealers they go into the cart without restrictions but I didn't carry them through to order. Call your dealer's parts department and ask them. Sometimes parts go on restriction if they are all needed for the factory.

Hopefully it's temporary. I've had the order go through from 3 different sources, but they all responded within a few hours that the order is cancelled. Probably a rush of orders since @Etch got this working!

Yup... they probably found out we did it so now they have to starve the market. But that's just me in a tinfoil hat.

I had to wait for mine to go from Michigan and California to Minneapolis and then here - delayed a week back during lockdowns.

Now that there is a source to get pins,, maybe you can find a source for the connector at the handle and just use your existing harness by adding the two wires to your door harnesses. Just a thought, probably save a lot of money too.

Could solder a pigtail to the door handle and use your own two pin connector there, hmmmm I think I wasted some money on the door harnesses. oh well.

On a hunch, I tried changing the last letter of the part number from "E" to "F." It looks like it's a valid part number. Might be worth a try, I'll keep researching.

Is there any chance that the connectors for these wires which need to be added to a SportS can be scavenged from the original door harness? I'm hoping to avoid buying and crimping connectors.

I did not try any of the terminals from the door wiring harness to see if they are the same. I don't like splicing wires so I just tracked down the terminals needed and went that route. Sorry that I'm not much help there.

Ok how do you hook up the security bypass cable, and the odb device to the jl,
My orb has pins, my port on the vehicle and security cable do not
