Since 2-door JL production is supposed to begin tomorrow (April 9th): any guesses on when the first ones will hit dealerships? I'm asking because I was planning on getting a Wrangler around the start of May (to kick off summer), and because I don't currently have a car and will be moving around that time, I won't have a lot of wiggle-room for waiting. I assume the first in production will go to fill orders, but I hope it wouldn't take too long for them to start hitting the lots.

Edit: I'm most concerned about the Sport S, if that makes any difference!

I can’t imagine you’d be able to order and have it at the start of May.

You might be able to pick one off a lot in that timeframe but you may want to become friends with the sales manager at your local dealership and ask them to give you a heads up when one shows up as they will likely be in high demand.

Haha, we've been calling quite a few dealerships every few days (almost incessantly). I think they know us quite well by now . Do you know when they'll first roll into dealerships? Will it be around the same time as the first orders get fulfilled or much later?

Sorry, I don’t have any idea of timeline.
