This is correct. Should be noted though that if you lease it, Jeep takes the tax credit. They should pass it through as instant savings (most automakers do) but I guess we’ll see what they think they can get away with.

My dealership said Jeep has not provided all the information they need to complete a lease deal yet. They don't know residual and how the credit will be applied. They fully expect it to be applied to cap cost on leases but they can't make the deal until Jeep officially releases it as they did with the Pacifica.

My dealer said I could charge it at their locations too. No cost to me. Not sure how long they will offer that.

Any other techies on here? If I get a 4xe I'm planning to mount a solar panel above the garage and find a way to run the 70 VDC directly to the charge controller instead of going thru a converter then back thru the AC charging converter. Any thoughts besides the obvious risk of voiding the warranty?
