I have maybe a dumb question. I see the specs for the 4Xe at 375bhp and 470ftlb torque. Those figures are achieved using a combination of gas and electric.
So, how long will it produce those figures in use before the battery needs charging?
How long can I off-road with that amount of power before it goes back to the normal I4 figures?

This vid might answer your question. In normal use you should always have access to that power. Basically, the control system will switch over to charging the battery whenever you drive at less than full-throttle. You should always have enough charge for short bursts of full power even when the battery charge is low.

Dealer is saying they can only spec the Rubicon with the body color top. I thought that wasn't standard on the Rubicon version.

I have a build sheet with pricing. I built the same thing using the 2.0 liter on-line and there is about a $4,400 price difference between the builds.

The starting MSRP for the Rubicon 4xe and Sahara 4xe have been released.

Rubicon 4xe - $51,695
Sahara 4xe - $47,995

https://www.jeep.com/wrangler-4xe.html

There is no pricing information on the Build and Pricing section for the 4xe. Appears as if you need to contact your local dealer for further pricing details for now.

Yes, they released base pricing, however the option to spec out the vehicle is still unavailable. I did my best this past weekend to build a Rubicon by removing the base gas model pricing and adding the base 4xe pricing to my numbers and came out around $75k. I had it pretty much loaded with all the bells and whistles.

I have it in front of me. The dealership just sent it this morning. I have two builds with all pricing.

Mine totaled $3900 difference between the JLUR w/2.0L turbo & the 4xe. I will benefit from the full, fed tax credit, so the 4xe ends up being less expensive than the regular IC engine.

Dealership is getting a fairly loaded Rubicon in (steel bumpers only major package missing) for MSRP of $63,070. The more base one I'm considering ordering is $60,275. These are without the fed credit subtracted.

Have a Bronco reservation to replace my 4 door vehicle but with that messy roll out so far and this pricing on the 4xe may be changing those plans.
FCA cleverly offers Ford® a moving target. Jeep buyers also have to deal with these moving targets. I'll jump at a 2 door JTR PHEV with a 6 foot bed. I'll probably be dead when that ceases to be dreamware.

Man those TJs hold their value well.....I would look at a JK over a TJ as you get a lot more bang for your buck and a larger vehicle with much more availability of parts.

that said, I love the JLs (even though I just sold mine for a JT)
Between a jk and TJ i love more the TJ

Anyone else notice by the time you get to the 4th page on any thread it has gone completely off the rails?
I'd say off the grid....not talking about locomotives here.

Is that MSRP or invoice? I’ve gone in and calculated some stuff using best guesses, and I’m getting an MSRP guess right around here for what I want, which is very loaded. Hopefully invoice will be a little cheaper. Then hopefully a small percentage drop after that.
