Hey everyone,

I’m looking to get out of the VW World and into a Jeep Wrangler. Aside from all that, I’ve been searching for many months and many forums, but when it came to my turn I can’t decide if this is a deal or if this is up for debate.

Here’s my current offer received:
2018 Wrangler Sport S JLU (LEASE)
Price: $36,487 (was $39,825)
Automatic 6 cylinder
Sting grey
Cold Weather Package
Convenience Group
Keyless Entry
Soft top
39 months, 12k miles a year $2,500 down.
Quote: $364.00 to $394.00 depending on my trade and before taxes and registration NYS which maybe I’ll include in my DP....
Either way that’s what this Saturday is for to get the raw numbers, this is an over the phone quote.

My take, I like it. I think it’s good, but is it great? Comfortable to pay it, but I would like to hear if your opinions.

I’ll end this as
1. Sorry I don’t know the money factor and residuals as of today. I’m rated 700+ credit.

Thoughts?

If your doing $2500 down plus whatever your trade in is (Assuming there is equity) $400 a month is bad if you have a good MF and regular residual in the mid to upper 60's.

I would get the Money Factor (Or interest rate, it can be converted) and residual. 3.5k off a sport S is a good deal but the rest of the details leave room for error.

Here in NY if I did CCAP at 39 months with Tier 1/Tier S Credit that would put me at $39X-40X a month if the residual is 69% with $2500 due at signing with the pricing guidelines you gave me.

You have to know the "money factor" or you are going into this lease blind. What is the disposition fee at the end of the lease? In other words, what do have to pay at the end of the lease when you hand them the keys and walk away? 12K miles per year... is that enough for you? Should you consider 15K miles per year? How much more money per mile will they charge you at the end if you go over this amount? Do you have an option to "buy more miles" during the lease if it looks like you might run over?

So many questions you need answers to. Beware!!! There are so many ways a dealer can "screw you over" whenever you are trading in a vehicle and getting a lease.

Echo sentiments on MF and Residual being critical. Honestly, don't think that's a great lease deal.

Only $3300 below sticker on a leftover 2018? That doesn’t seem compelling to me.

I was quoted rough estimate by a dealer over 600 today, 53k all in price

Do you have a breakdown of your deal?

Thanks!

If I can get something similar I’ll be leasing.

So 64% residual means that’s what you can buy it at after the lease right?

64 % means you pay 36% of selling price for lease + money factor or interest. In my case 0.00170*2600 =4.42%. This is US bank lease, try that if your having trouble getting a deal and want to lease pm me. I can help refer you where to get one.

Send me the referral please, so you didn’t go through dealer?

I want to see their numbers but don’t have to decide until delivery

My 2019 Hardtop Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with all those features cost 36.8K. I would try to get that another 1-2k lower.
