I traded in my 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon but still have the Hardtop with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform and Backbone base mounting system. It is setup and was used for our overlanding trips where I carried cargo, tent or two sea kayaks. I'm now offering this system up for sale.
Rhino-Rack Roof Rack
I had spent lots of hours assembling Pioneer Platform and then carefully installing the Rhino Rack Backbone system for this platform. Drilling was required to install the Backbone system but with this installed, this rack system is rated for 265 lbs dynamic load. The rack system uses "combination of internal and external structural components, designed to integrate seamlessly with the Jeep Wrangler JL’s fiberglass canopy. The RJLB1 system includes an endoskeleton for superior reinforcement of the Jeep Wranglers fibre glass canopy. The load placed onto these castings is distributed into the internal steel frame and into the vehicle’s steel body allowing for an impressive 265lb/120kg load rating. Whilst boasting impressive load carrying capacity, the RJLB1 does not affect the ability to remove the canopy or interfere with the Freedom Panels on those beautiful clear days. With the simple removal of only two additional bolts, the canopy can be removed as usual." That quote is from Rhino-Rack. Static load is much higher - I had a three person tent on it with three people sleeping. Everything comes pre-assembled and installed (including hardware and keys) so you don't have to spend hours assembling, drilling, sealing, curing, etc. This rack includes the tall legs so you can easily get your hands in between platform and roof as you strap stuff down to the rack.
Hardtop
The hardtop (fits all 2018-2023 Jeep JLs) is in excellent condition and has just a couple of minor nicks from regular use and where I placed Pax Rax kit from TrailRax but overall it is in top shape. Hardware is included and all you have to do is to lower it on the Jeep and screw several bolts in. Rack is already on the hardtop. Freedom panels can be easily removed and you can drive with them off while the rack is still on the hardtop. As you can see hardtop has sound-deadening headliner panels. Rear windshield wiper is in excellent condition. The color is textured black as came originally from Jeep.
If you were to buy all the parts now the cost will be over $6K (see picture of a shopping cart from Northridge4x4 with all the identical parts) and probably 6 to 8 hours in assembly and installation of the roof rack system (if you know what you are doing). I included a few pics of how my Jeep looked with the hardtop and rack system. Price is pretty firm but will entertain serious offers. I'm in Memphis/Germantown, TN. Local pickup unless you will arrange shipping.
