We believe Jeep armor upgrades can be both extreme duty and retain factory features. We aren't first to market with a JL rear bumper and tire carrier, but this couldn't be rushed. Our Patriot Series JL rear bumper with tire carrier hosts all our standard features, plus retains all the factory options available for the current Wrangler.

What took us so long? We wanted this bumper to be 1/4" thick like all our other rear bumpers. Problem was the optional sensors for the JL rear. There was not a grommet on the market for that size sensor to fit in 1/4" thick material. So - we made it!

Thank you for being thoughtful about the proximity sensors. I've been disappointed by some of the spare tire mount bumpers that have blown it with the prox sensors.

That setup looks great! I really like how the bumper wraps around the body but doesnt blend into the flares. Im going to run tube fenders on mine and this would be perfect. Job well done!

Will the rear bumper accommodate a 35” spare tire on the OEM wheel mounted in the stock location? Can the RockHard tire carrier be ordered separately and mounted onto the steel bumper later if thevbumoer is originally ordered without it?

Just like a 35" won't fit on some factor JL rear bumper versions, a 35" tire will require a relocation bracket. We offer a heavy duty adjustable mount that will allow a 35" to clear either the factory bumper or ours. We move your receiver up for clearance since they so commonly get wheelers hung up.

All bumpers will have sensor holes, but for wheelers without sensors we do include plugs to close the holes.

The bumper will work with the factory spare mount. To run a 35" or larger spare you'll need our adapter mount found here:

Do you have a pic of the bumper with the factory 33” spare on the stock spare mount? I’m not seeing how it will fit since the bumper doesn’t have a cutout.

I don't have a photo of our non tire carrier rear with a 33" tire yet, we'll begin shooting our install videos soon so that'll help. 33" is close but does fit with the factory mount. Another option is our adjustable mount for under $110. Plus it gives you a CB antenna mount built in.

Bumpers look fantastic. Love the recessed license plate, integrated hitch, and mounting for the hitch wiring. I've been waiting for this bumper.

Is there any chance you'll offer an option to NOT have the holes drilled for the sensors? I don't really want to put plugs in if that will be an option.

Your skid plates and front & rear bumpers will definitely be on my 2019 when it arrives.
