Shout out to ChryslerWarrantys.com for a good deal on a 96 month / 100,000 mile / $100 deductible "Maximum Care" Mopar vehicle protection plan @ $2186. I've used them before and they're totally reliable and great with customer service. I've used them to register other Mopar plans before with zero issues, and you get a prorated amount back if you cancel before the term is up. For $23 per month for 96 months I've essentially got a bumper to bumper warranty on my $76K MSRP 2023 Rubicon 4xe rig with all the bells and whistles. I'd say that's totally worth it.

Really sucks they got rid of their "Lifetime" extended warranties, but super shitty they don't even have enough faith to offer a damn 10-year warranty.

The disappointing thing about these extended mopar warranties is that they do NOT extend the corrosion issue that occurs on hinges, doors, and hood past the standard factory time period.

Wow, didn't know that. Honestly figured a Mopar Maxcare warranty (or whatever their top of the line one is called) was mostly equivalent to the factory 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, covering just about everything other than normal wear and regular maintenance.

Can you imagine having to deal with your Jeep dealer for ten years...?
That's an entire decade for them to improve, because really.. how could they get any worse? ?

Service experience aside, I find it pathetic that a South Korean budget brand can include a 5-year/60k-mile standard warranty with 10-year/100k-mile drivetrain on a $17k vehicle, while Jeep and many other US manufacturers are selling vehicles costing several times as much and only including 3-year/36k with 5-year/60k drivetrain.

The biggest relief of my JL life was the expiration of my factory warranty. No more trying to find a dealer to diagnose my Jeep. No more trying to find a dealer who will fix my Jeep. No more shady Jeep service writers. No more dealerships weaseling their way out of warranty work because of aftermarket parts. No more leaving my Jeep at the dealership for weeks at a time, only to get it back unfixed.

I will fix it myself with a smile.

I purchased a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan two years ago and just paid the last payment. I have four more years left on the plan and I was told that if I never use it I will get my full purchase price refunded. If I do use it, there will be a $100 charge per visit. Not that I have problems but what if there is more than one thing wrong when I take it to the dealership, is it $100 per defect/problem?

Anyone have any experience with these plans? I'm more interested in getting my $2500 back not dishing out $100's.

This doesn't make any sense. If this were the case everybody would be buying these.
