A trucker buddy gave me some info on weighing your vehicle. I want to be at or under my GVWR before hitting the road. If I’m over, I have time to get set up for a small trailer.
If I go the trailer route, I’m hoping to rent one for two months before plunking down the money. A trailer is in my 2022 list, along with a RTT, but before then I need to make sure I don’t go over on weight for my June trip.

I wondered if anyone here has used a local CAT Scale? There’s one 19.5 miles from me. Anything I need to be aware of before heading there? I mean, besides “load all your gear, water, fuel, etc?”
