Being at the beach for the past 2 days has gotten sand on the top. It does not seem to want to come off too easily. Any tips for cleaning it? Do I use a brush? Any special cleaners?

Thank you!

I'd let it dry out and then vacuum it with a shop vac. You probably should use the Bestop protectant a couple of times a year anyway.

Speaking of protectant, has anyone tried using scotchguard on it? I would think this is a readily available option.

Lots of sun to dry it up then lots of wind to blow it off lol

Or some of what @zxd9 said.

Appreciate the responses, I guess I’m going to have to find some of this protectant! I gave it a rinse yesterday, but the under area bit that meets the windshield still has some sand on it (top was down). May have to get creative with that area lol.

Vacuum it with a soft "Wall brush ", this will pull sand, dirt out of the fabric, rather than grinding it in ...

I'm new to the Jeep Wrangler family but on my Z4 I've used one of those lint rollers to get stubborn stuff off the top and that top material was pretty similar to the premium soft top on Wranglers. Just curious it that might work in this instance? I'm also curious since I've got a JLU with the premium soft top. ;)
