I like leather and always had it but I hate when the leather creases and shows wear. That premium cloth looks real nice also on the Rubi. I think I may pick that this time. Curious on opinions.

Have you actually seen pics or vid of the premium cloth on the JL Rubi? That’s what I got but would love to actually see it.

This is Jeep leather we’re talking. Not really the highest quality or most durable. Cloth is the way to go

Are you replacing the JKU in your picture? Are you going granite again?

That JKU is gone. As of now, yes granite again. But it's always between billet and granite but granite has won 8 of 9 times. I want to see ocean and sting on 2dr Rubi before I order though.

Bartact seat covers are fabulous. Easy to clean, tough, the black covers resist fading, weather resistant, molle webbing (sound familiar?) plus zipper pouches built in.

If/when I eventually buy a JL it'll be with cloth seats and Bartact covers.

Are aftermarket seat covers compatible with side airbags?

Some are.
But remember on the JK the airbag was in the upper seat side. On the JL it is located bottom lower and what appears to be a unit attached to the side of the seat (not within like the JK) so I expect a lot more aftermarket options will more easily account for airbags. Notwithstanding the fact that airbags are now standard. So if any company wants to sell seat covers to the wrangler community they NEED to work with the airbags.
