I'm looking for a solid air pressure gauge & tire deflation combo tool. What's worth buying and what's worth staying away from? I've had tire gauges that showed difference between 8-15 psi. A gauge with an attached piece for airing down the tires would come in handy on the trails.

There are a LOT of these deflators on the market now.
ARB used to be the only game in town, but once their patent ran out everyone started making them.

I have the ARB one that has been reliable for a long time.

Coyote. I get to stand around drinking coffee watching everyone else on their knees deflating their tires.

I found the coyote type too unreliable. Never settled out where I thought they’d been set.

I use a rapid air deflator similar to those already linked. Then I watch the tire PSI drop on the screen in front of the steering wheel. Not sure if Sports/Sahara’s have that screen, but the rubicon does. When it gets close I take a slow stroll to that tire and take it off. I find this way more accurate than the gauge that comes on the deflator. I also have a gauge I trust but rarely use it.

Yea, I recommend the Coyote brand specifically, not Coyote "type". You're right, other brands, and even Stauns, can be inaccurate and unreliable. I have not had any issues with actual Coyotes.

I picked up the Rapid Air Down deflator, I liked the fact it had a it's own tough case. I'll throw it in the glove box till I get a permanent tool bag to keep in the jeep. My concern was finding a cheap knock off that breaks after a couple uses.

Thanks for the responses.

Just got the ARB digital tire pressure gauge. Really like it.

I really like the J T Brooks pros for deflators, the marks are the tube are really close so if your want to start high and go lower or let someone borrow them it make them easy to adjust. and I use a cheap digital gauge from Amazon. Dash matches what I see on the gauge so can't complain.
