Iā€™ve got both for my 2020 JL. Havenā€™t gotten around to installing them yet.

I put one of the trans pans on my wife's JLUR last year. Simple install and works great. I may buy the oil pan later on.

I bought a transmission pan before they grew a brain and made it to clear the exhaust pipe without having to grind down the pan fins.

Sold it without installing it because it also required a proprietary transmission filter and still does.

I guess it's a hard pass on the Transmission Pan then. But the Oil Pan will be an absolute must for me. I wonder if anybody experienced a few degrees drop in Oil Temperatures with this Pan.

The only problem I foresee is over tighting the drain plug and ending up with a stripped oil pan.

Only if one takes their Jeep to a facility with oil change monkeys under the rack....

They did come out with a new transmission pan that doesn't require grinding of the fins, but the filter is still proprietary.

Noticed the deep pan says something about modifying the exhaust.
Is it a proprietary filter or just one for something else?
Many moons ago had a B&M deep pan on a TH350. Came with an extension adapter and "there" filter that was pricey. Well "there" filter was a torque flight filter, cheap and available anywhere. .. just sayin.

Not sure about that. It could be one for a different model, I just know it's not a 850RE filter. I suppose PPE could tell us.
