I have 4 aux switched and so far only used one for my OBA.

What do you guys run??? I am no light bar fan and I cannot really think of other things that need switches. Thought about an air horn but that would get me in trouble 😈😈

What's with the winch power??? On my old jeep the winch was just wired to the batter and you simply plugged in the controls.

Also I have thought about rock lights. I have an LED light setup that works with a Bluetooth controller I was going to use in my C8 but didnt.

No power to my winch so no one can mess with it but more important, in a front end accident It helps prevent a short / fire.

Aux3 is the ignition source to the VOSwitch.
Aux4 provides power to my dash USB power ports and cabin lights.
VOSwitch has winch power solenoid, bumper lights, pillar lights, and rock lights.

I had the same problem. Found a novelty horn my father gave me several years ago.

@Opus

While some YT videos are very good and offer correct, helpful info, do be very very careful following info/direction heard and seen on them.

Always confirm/verify the info you gain from the YT video. Why, because some YT videos can get you into a mess so to speak... thanks to misinformation, etc. in them.

Read this whole thread... As you are reading, or after reading ask ?.

You will find all the info you need in that thread and if not ask your ? as there are many here that can give you guidance and other's here that can confirm or reject info you receive.

  1. 7" LEDs on the front bumper
  2. 20" amber LED bar under bumper
  3. LEDs in rear bumper for setting up camp
  4. Dometic fridge
Could you tell me how you wired your dometic fridge to the aux switch? I bought the dometic hard wire kit but the 10 ga wire with the kit is bigger than the aux switch wiring (14ga?) and I'm wondering if that is a problem. I want the dometic fridge to be hooked up to my dometic plb40 and I want that only hooked up to a switched connection since the plb40 doesn't have battery protection (and I have a manual so passing thru firewall more complicated). Thanks! I can only find a couple youtube videos that talk about the wire size difference and there's always someone in the comments saying not a smart idea.

Mine is the Dometic DC30, so there's a good chance that it draws less power than yours. I just ran it to aux switch 4 since it draws so little juice. I didn't, however, do the full verification that I wasn't going to overload it. No issues...so far.

Note that the aux switches seem to have battery protection. I say that after accidentally leaving the fridge on for a few days and seeing it turned off when getting in the next time.
