Power Soft Top Available to Order 6/7! [UPDATE: OPEN NOW and First Confirmed Order!]

I am stuck in D1 with no ETA on, well, anything. I also keep getting different answers from Jeep Twitter ranging from: your car is finished and waiting to final inspection and scheduled freight date of July X to you are in D (and acting incredulous that I was ever in D1) to current status of D1.

My dealer has no info either.

I am still in D status since 6/13/18. I chatted with jeep costomer care yesterday and Sarah said that “my order is in the scheduling phase of the manufacturing process. The parts required to build the vehicle are being scheduled as soon as they are available and ready, order will be scheduled for build.” She did escalate the order..... Their order tracking team will contact me by email.....
No information from my dealer either!

No updates yet. They asked me to check back at the end of this week. I’m waiting as long as possible, hopefully allowing enough time for a good response. I’ll keep everyone in the loop when I have something new.

Mine is supposed to be at the dealership in next week or so. I think hes full of shit and its not that close based on these posts. Ill follow up with my salesperson Monday. Mine is black Sahara. Maybe the basic colors are first?

I texted with Jeep Chat today and again asked for an update to my case and today's Jeep Chat specialist could find no mention of my case number in their system. She was helpful enough to create a new case which she indicated that she would expedite. She indicated that if I hadn't received an email by Friday that I should check-in for an update. I guess we'll see if the second go around does anything regarding getting the build expedited. I'll let you all know what kind of update I receive on Friday. At this point my expectations are pretty low.

I did PM JeepCares to see if we can get some sort of an update about the Sky One-Touch Power Top production. It seems like there may be some sort of extraordinary production delay, since we are all still waiting...
Jasmine who has been very responsive is researching.

I was given a case number and told my build could be escalated since I've been in D for over 45 days. Mine is a turbo rubicon with power top, ordered 6/11. I'm not sure which part of the build is creating the delay at this point.

I believe it has to be the Power Top. We are all under the same roof. I have the 3.6L V6 Rubicon. Others have the Sahara.
The only thing unique about this group is we are all waiting and we all have the Sky One-Touch Power Top listed as an option.
The earliest forum members to order have been in D since June 14.

I agree, it’s got to be the power top. I had a chat with Jeep yesterday and they confirmed my order is still “awaiting parts”.

I received an email back from my second case today and it basically indicates that prior to launching it, "we want to ensure that we have identified and protected for any potential issues". It goes on to indicate that delays are due to production ramp up and overwhelming demand. Not a whole lot of detail, but at least nice to get something. It doesn't say anything about the future other than soon.

Hopefully, Gregodav, you're comms with Jasmine will provide some more detail.

I am happy to hear this. It sound like they are working on a solution to a production problem. If it was an easy fix, it would have been completed. If it was a major issue we would have received a more somber warning.
Now I guess we wait to determine the definition of "soon"
