Was 4.65 here yesterday, everyplace jumped to 4.85 today, but we also have summer tourist season here and I'm in between Sturgis and Rapid, so prices are a bit higher than they otherwise would be.

Filled up a while after picking up my JLURD from AEV this afternoon somewhere on I-94 in Michigan for $5.79 a gallon. My wife was asking how much that cost so she could prepare herself for the cost of diesel.

"Under $100!" I replied. I didn't mention that it was $99.70 .

$4.45 this morning here. Was $4.90 last weekend. The hilarious thing is that a truck stop 30 miles away was selling for $4.56 last weekend while the stations here, that get supplied by the same trucks, were selling for $4.90. The same chain, Sheetz, has a .12 price difference between two stores 8 miles apart.
Around here there are people who will drive 10 miles to a station because gas is .10 a gallon cheaper. They hate it when I point out that they are getting 20 miles to the gallon and for a 20 gallon tank they save $2.00 when gas is .10 cheaper. They burn a gallon to get to the station and back and at $4.50 a gallon they are actually spending an extra $2.50 to get the fill up.

Some stations down here in south florida dropped about 30 cents, so around $5.09 a gallon. Meanwhile others are still hovering around $5.39-$5.59. All 93 octane prices though.

Doral south florida I found a couple of stations at $4.99 for 93. A few weeks ago these were in the mid 5s. A couple of other stations in north miami and hallandale are still in the $5.19-$5.39 range for 93.

Fuel prices are easing down here in the PNW, thankfully.

Regular is now around $5.25, down 50 cents from last week.
