Well I got a surprise today. First told the jeep was delayed then get a text saying it arrived.

that's awesome, congratulations! how does the red dash look in there? also when you get a chance can you check out if there are any other changes? maybe get a look at the steering box part numbers or the draglink etc.

I'm not sure how it looks. I'm going to pick it up Friday. From the pictures I feel like the tires look smaller than 285s however. I suppose I'll find out Friday.

I thought the same thing regarding the tires looking small. maybe it's just an illusion due to the color of the Jeep and fenders.

The what is new for 2020 document said stock tires are 255/75r17. There was confusion whether this was correct or not so I ordered the TWG 285/70r17 MT option which the dealership forgot to enter. They told me that they contacted the regional rep and added them after the fact but clearly that didn't happen. I'm hoping they are 285s and the picture just makes them look small.

I didn't specify anything for tires, and my build sheet clearly mentioned 285/70R17

I also had asked my sales person to confirm the tire sizes had not changed and he confirmed with FCA that they did not.

That sheet was incorrect. They're definitely 285.

Ordered on 7/9 and both the build sheet and window sticker popped up yesterday. I figured it would be another couple weeks in transit but was happily surprised when the dealer called and said it arrived today. 4 miles on odometer! Really surprised how fast it moved since my update last Friday was that it was still D1. I love the new saddle interior with the bikini!

What size does your tire sidewall show?

Update: E status as of today... I'm so tempted to shoot down to Toledo right now to see it rolling down the line...
JB status as of today!

Side note... I feel like my dealer is almost as excited as I am. He sent me a screenshot of it... And he's out on vacation this week. Good man.

Thanks for the info and giving eyewitness evidence of the actual tire size being used. The jeep looks awesome. Bikini and tan is a flash back to the late 80s/early 90s.
