Did you get your VIN from chat using your VON#?

Dealer gave me VIN.

Dealer had some issues ordering, had to call FCA a few times and we waited a few days. Order went in 7/16, got vin 7/17.

For those interested in some background.... I started off test driving a bare bones 2019 (manual, no AC, just the Jeep), and before the dust settled and I actually placed the order (thanks in large part to finding this forum) I ordered the 2020 with the Black and Tan package, and every other option other than the smoker package and the AT. It's a nice return to Jeep for me, after my 2000 Cherokee Sport. Hopefully it doesn't take 3 months, but it gives me time to sell my current ride...

Today is the day! 2020 MY starts production. (According to the document). We should start seeing some movement.

I won't be tracking mine. I'll wait until the salesman calls me.

Hey there Jason. New update this morning. D1 status which means production has begun. Assigned an estimated ship date of 8/4/2019. That of course is always subject to change.

That would make sense because if you check on cryptosticker, a 2019 got completed today, so maybe it got pushed.

Also, seems like some plant employees are discussing saturday overtime being cancelled for the next few weeks. If true, seems FCA is not in a hurry to produce....

I ordered my 2020 Rubicon on 7/22. I have a VON and VIN and in D status as of yesterday. Config was FIrecracker Rubicon JLU, V6 with 8spd, dual top, Alpine, cold weather, LED, Proximity, Steel Bumper and Leather.

This is my 3rd red jeep, first was 1987 Cherokee Sport 2door, second was 1997 Grand Cherokee. Now time for the Wrangler!
