Trying to get some clarification. 315s on anything but stock rims are likely to rub under full articulation correct? I’ve found one comment that vaguely indicated anything less than +10 to 12 is a no go.
I don't think that's universally true. I think it will vary by tire choice and even by jeep. I think there are loose enough tolerances where you may have different results between 2 otherwise similar jeeps. For example mine rubbed at first, but once i was able to center the axle better with a rear track bar it stopped. Some people have had 35s rub with Mopar lift. I am running the Mopar loft now and wish I did a lift a long time ago. Once you get better shocks you realize how bad the factory Rubicon ones are.

Just just ordered BFG KO2s in 315/70/R17 on Method 305s with 0mm offset with the thought / hope that the wheels / tires will still fit inside the wheel well.

Please tell me if I'm wrong. I'm not going to be going to full articulation all that often, but that was the plan at least.

my ridge Grapplers fit and they were a bit wider. if your axle is a bit off you may run the liner a bit. easy fix. however if you think you may want a lift, I would recommend it. the upgraded shocks will make a huge difference no matter what you go with.

This is with 0 offset Method wheels and 35x12.50R17 Duratracs (34.6" measured tall); no rubbing that I could feel, though neither of these were at full articulation.

This didn't happen to be up in Idaho/Montana, would it? I was on the Magruder Corridor week before last, and the landscape certainly looks similar (with a lightning strike wildfire currently burning).
