37s no lift. A bit of rub on rear inner fenders on compression but works fine for in town driving. Once I install aluminum rear inner fenders I think I could drive it forever this way on road. Off road with flat fenders and bump stops I almost bet you could make it work too. For max results though lift kit will be coming soon!

Do you have wheel spacers? I currently have 1.75" spacers and wonder if that would help with the rubbing issue when turning?

How is the zone lift? What height did u go with? Ride good on and off road?
Haven't done it yet. Going to do it this fall, going with a 3" BDS. Zone is the less expensive version of BDS. I've had both lifts in the past, both 4" and 6" on trucks. They've been amazing. Never had an issue. On my F350 I ran a 6" Zone with 38" tires and never had one issue. Ran a 4" on my F150. Don't anticipate any issues with the 3" BDS.

As for off-road, I had my F350 on some rough trails in Garrett County (Western MD). Nothing amazing since it was such a big truck, but I did have it at one point on two tires and didn't break a thing. Ran that setup for 100,000 miles without problems (just replaced shocks at 50k).

Cool thx for the info.
Believe I’m gonna go with a 3” zone lift with 35s
Don’t plan on getting to crazy off-road

Thursday I’ll post up photos of 315/70R17 E BFG KO2s on MOAB/Willys wheels (completely stock suspension) - going on black 2021 JLUR.

What tires are these? And did you reinforce your tailgate hinge? She’s gorgeous. Stock wheels and all.
Those are BFG KO2 tires in 315/70/17 (aka “35s”) in a “C” load range.

The tailgate of the JLs are designed for up to a “35” tire on stock rims with no additional supports.

Unfortunately the silver JLUR pictured above had a number of other issues with the electrical systems and was bought back by FCA.

This is my new 2021 JLUR with a mild 2” lift and 35” MickeyThompson A/T Boss tires in 35X12.5X17. No issues with the 35” tire and factory tailgate mount either.

I have been ask several times to start a thread about that topic, just short on time. I don’t want to discuss it on this thread and muddy it up. If you PM I will give you my thoughts.

New MR704 wheels on 315/70r17 tires (Cooper STT Pros). I have the Rubicon Recon model and it came with the Mopar tailgate reinforcer hinge and oversize tire mount. No lift on this yet.

I did have to get larger rubber stops on the tail gate.

JLURR: 35/12.50 17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on AEV Savegre II wheels. No lift.

Spare tire fit perfectly on stock mount mated above steel bumpers with no rubbing issues. Also of note, stock lug nuts worked perfectly as well.
