Satin black with the rings powder coated gloss black to match the Jeep - onyx and the other finishes are nice but wanted to do something a little different (haven’t seen satin black on a JL yet before mine).

Here’s my setup:
94951E31-A60E-496B-B61F-EA80C83AB712.jpeg

JLUR with BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2’s
(315 70 / R17) on Stock Upgraded Rubicon Wheels. (2.0L I4 Turbo)

I’ve included some info for those that are just getting into a new Jeep and might need a little insight.

The 315 isn’t a true 35, it’s more so a 34in tire for the Ko2’s But in comparison it’s a much more beefy than the stock 33s. If you want a true 35 ask for or order a 35/12.50R17.

No wheel spacers, no lift & no rubbing. Tires stick out 1/2in past fenders. Although I did need an alignment, had a slight pull towards the right after installation. See how it drives first, you might not need it. They may try to up-sell you on an alignment and tire protection.

No re-gearing and Speedometer is fine until highway speeds which I’m about 3-5mph over while going 60-70mph. Need to get that reprogrammed soon.

Didn’t feel a loss in power and for me I feel the JLUR is more than capable of running up to 35s without re-gearing. If you don’t have a Rubicon you might want to look into re-gearing, your axles and gear ratio might not be able to handle larger tires stock. Also you will need a lift kit of some sort to clear larger tires for non rubicon jl’s.

Hope this helps for those looking to add larger tires on a bone stock JLUR!

Also if you’re new to the Jeep World and didn’t know only the rubicons come with high top fenders allowing you to clear up to a 35 stock.

Here are a few pictures with the stock BFG 33`s and with BFG KM3 35`s . Mopar Gladiator rims.No lift, no rubbing
Also a picture of my stock wheel that I sold and put on a stock height JLUR
I did purchase a JKS 2.5 lift with EVO Manufacturing control arm brackets.
Going up to BFG KM3 37`s in the near future, so keep a eye out for a set of 5 BFG KM3 35`s with Mopar TPMS sensors on Mopar Gladiator rims for sale. Less then 900 miles on them

Did you need to put a spacer on for this setup?
Nope. No spacers required. Everything clears just fine so far but have not had it off road with sway bar disconnected yet.

Thank you
We’re you on the bump stop ?

The reason I’m so concerned about rubbing is I live out west here we do a lot of sand dunes it’s so easy and I’ve seen it happen so many times people put larger tires on but don’t do anything to the suspension so when they cycle suspension all the way to the bump stops the tires are ripping fenders off, tearing up tires , or it’s so easy in the sand to get crossed up where one tire is fully buried in the sand and the other tire appears on top of the sand and you’re fully flexed one wheels on the bump stop and what happens to these people is they can’t even spin the tires to get out , the tire is wedged in the fender and we have to pull them out because they’re scared to spin the tire in fear of ripping off their fenders or flares or whatever plastic thing is in the way. We are aired down but the tire is only flat on the bottom. To me that makes it not functional , when bought my Rubicon promised myself I would only do things to improve it for function not looks , I’m not smarter than the Jeep engineers. I’m thinking a little 2 inch lift some 35s with longer bump stops and I should be rocking.
Mopar 2" lift with 35 KO2 (slight larger than 315, slight) on stock wheels. Like seeing some of these wheels, but mine are fine. If went to 37s, requires new wheels and I think testing the endurance engineered. I think the Rubicon engineered for my combination, but could not make it from factory due to CAFE requirements. They look a bit small, but 35's are not small tires. Operation at off road park was excellent with disconnect and lockers. I consider that traded Tacoma TRD Pro for my JLUR. Could not fit 285s without alterations on Tacoma with an additional 1" lift (TRD PRO lifted from factory vs. TRD Offroad).

A 35" tire (less than an inch closer to fender) seems to just about fill that gap perfectly for many, maybe just grazing the fender liners at actual full stuff (like in the video), but not touching the actual flares. Thumbs up from me!
I've rarely been in woods pushing environment without tires picking up some kind of trash, especially if swampy.

Tires are on the short side. More like 34in. Accelera mt01.
