Anyone have recommendations for a somewhat portable steam cleaner for our interior carpets and cloth seats? Plenty of options on Amazon but hoping folks here may have found a good product to steam clean the seats. I've got two years of Texas red clay dust just building up and my seats are slowly turning a red hue even after spraying down and wiping with wet cloth.

Which ever one you choose, make sure you only use a vinegar and water solution. Pretty much all others will leave behind a residue which will attract and stick even more dirt.

Use something like this with a scrub brush:

https://adamspolishes.com/collectio...ducts/adams-all-purpose-interior-cleaning-gel

followed by (one of the better steam cleaners out there):

https://www.amazon.com/PurSteam-Wor...8705019&sprefix=portable+steam,aps,153&sr=8-3

then:

use a microfiber towel to wipe the seats and lift any remaining dirt. Repeat as necessary.

The Bissel Spot clean will likely be your best solution, the clay has probably already settled into the fabric and you will likely need a carpet extractor to pull it out! McCulloch works well for cleaning leather, sills, dash, jams, etc. Kills most odors as well!
