Kenda Tire makes am RT tire in 35/10.5/17. Good looking AT type tire and price is good at around $200.

Toyo open Country AT III comes in 35/11.5/17. 285/75/17 tires with 11.25" width is a 34" tire size that should turn up a lot of other mfg.

There is a thread on this site under 'Pizza Cutter Tires' that should turn up some other options.

Thanks for the info Roverhi. I'll be sure to check these out. I'm looking for a mud tire, but having some metric sizes helps.

Hey fellas,

new to the forum and just received my 2021 rubicon 2 door! And I love it. I wanted to know what the lightest mud terrian 35 inch by 12.5 tires to buy? I wanna keep the weight low but the tires aggressive as I will be adding 20x 10 rims. I included a pic with what I was gonna go with. All comments appreciated brothers!

So what's around 11? Or how did you come up with that?
There are 25.4mm in an inch.

So, 11" x 25.4mm/in = 279.4mm.

Looks like a 275 would be just about right if you're looking for 11 inches.

Nitto Mud Grapplers 37x13.50R17LT E (Actual Diameter: 34.76) WEIGHT : 97 lbs Width : 14.57"
The actual dimensions from https://www.nittotire.com/light-truck-tires/mud-grappler-extreme-mud-terrain-light-truck-tire/

37.05 not 34.76. Copy/paste error from 35x12.5R no doubt.

37x13.50R17LT E 131P 200600 21.0 37.05 14.57 8.5-(11.0)-11.0 4300 @ 65 97.00

I think I'll go for this tire, it should work great in the sand/mud/dirt/rock here in Maui.
I was told by my local discount tire that 35x1250 would probably be fine but they didn't recommend it and they wouldn't do 37x1250 on a stock wheel.

I wouldn't recommend going to a 35 without the reinforcement, I didn't on my JK when I went to wider 33s and eventually mt tailgate started to pull back. Not the same obviously, but I believe that the mopar reinforcement stares that it is for running 35" and larger tires so apparently mopar recommends it.
Why wouldn’t they run a 37x 12.5 on the stock rim?

Requires a 8.5-11" wide rim. It's a legal liability to mount on a non approved size. That's been reported many times in this forum.
Many around here run them, but if you have any tire warranty issues you may have trouble getting any help. I always check the tire companies website to check for their approved wheel width range for the tire & size I'm wanting, best to follow their approved sizes.

Would be a bummer to be in an emergency situation and the tire shop won't mount up your tire(s) because they aren't approved for your wheel :(

A couple times I've seen go around a corner too fast, slide off the road and blow both tires on one side. In that case you might have to buy a smaller tire and put the small one on the front. JT's can carry 2 spares. With a JL/JLU you could carry an extra spare on top.

I updated the 37" sheet that I created to add the BFG KO2 LRC and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires:

We need to add to the 35" list General Grabber X3's with C load range. I'm still at work but will try and dig up the specs when I can. I've got a new set on my JLUR. They have a different model number and are VERY hard to find but they are in production. It took about 6 or 8 weeks to get them from Discount Tire. They found a set of 5 in a warehouse in Nevada. Otherwise it was at least going to be another month.
