Thank you Ruben! I built it with the family of five in mind-three kids on top and the adults in the camper itself. It’s also nice to store gear in one place or the other if you have less people and will be in one place for more than one night.Jeremy,
On your Trailer build. What do you do with the inside portion if tent is on top? Is it just to lounge around on hot days etc or do you have other people sleep in there as well.
Awesome build video! You mentioned the price, but how many man hours did it take you to build it up?Here is my old trailer with Smittybilt Overlander XL tent. Built the trailer-labor of love for sure:
I would estimate 80-100 hours. There was some trail and error so it would take less time to do it the next time.Awesome build video! You mentioned the price, but how many man hours did it take you to build it up?

Does anyone know if this setup is possible on a 2 door? I'd like to get a pop up tent like this but unfortunately I have some limitations. Any recommendations would be great.I forgot about this thread. Here is my new setup:
with the roof tent setup, will you be able to use your freedom tops at all?I forgot about this thread. Here is my new setup:
You’ll have to get a rack that can hold the weight and you’ll have serious overhang, but you could do it.Does anyone know if this setup is possible on a 2 door? I'd like to get a pop up tent like this but unfortunately I have some limitations. Any recommendations would be great.
