Stock 2019 JLU Rubicon (built on Feb. 19, 2019). No more wandering after reducing the factory tire pressure down from 44psi to 36 psi. Drove it from the Washington, DC area to Western Wyoming while towing a 2,000 lbs trailer after the break-in period. Vehicle now has 2,909 miles on it. Steering is still spot on even after encountering countless roadway expansion joints and rough pavement during our cross country trek. Relieved and thankful.

Totally stock 2019 JLR on K02s with 38 psi. Daily driven on rough city streets and poor highways (75-85mph). Steering is normal, no steering issues. Actually no problems of any kind. Knock on wood! lol.

2019. No steering issues from new until recently. After installing lift and 35's still drove fine until after a few good hard offroad trips, now drag link is flopping around like a dying fish and tie rod not far behind, at 3k it's starting to wander. I knew I would have to replace them eventually, the stock ones just dies quicker than I thought they would.

2018 JLUR, all I noticed is a slight drift to the right when I take my hands off the wheel, just noticed it at 7000 miles.. but other than that I think it’s been more paranoia from all the negative post on steering...but honestly it’s been pretty good.. KNOCK ON WOOD :fingerscrossed:
Same here 2018 JLUR with a very slight pull to the right. 6,000 miles. No change after rotation. Plan to have an alignment done at 10,000.

Had a 2018 JLRU that did have a distinct "wander" on the highway that was annoying but not a serious "wobble".
My 2019 wandered very slightly when new, but has improved so it is not noticeable now it is broken in.

My 2018 JLU Rubicon developed a nice steering wheel wobble at 8k miles (not death wobble, but enough I didn't like driving it, would move steering wheel an inch or two back and forth). Narrowed it down to a very worn drag link connection at Pitman arm - lots of visible movement in the drag link end when pushed on with breaker bar or when steering wheel turned with vehicle parked. Replaced that POS drag link with a Synergy drag link and problem disappeared instantly. Definitely a weak link on the JLU - drag links/tie rods should NOT be failing at 8k miles.

Just bought my first ever Jeep, a '19 Sahara JL. I thought I had a steering problem on the ride home from the dealer. But, after lowering the tire psi to 34, and (here's the biggest thing) told myself the Jeep will never drive like my Corvette or the wife's Mustang I found I didn't have a problem at all. It was me........now that I'm used to the steering I love driving the thing.

19 JLUR, it's stock and haven't done any wild offroading. Plus only have 1300 miles. So far so good :like:

I have no steering issues, but this is pretty lousy and inconclusive poll (although well-intentioned). It doesn't address any of the causes people had, but more importantly it fails to acknowledge that some have developed issues after time/miles. Someone may be fine today, answer this poll, and develop problems in an hour, whether stock or modified.
