Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

I did not watch them closely when they painted my hood. The color was an RCH off. Time has allowed the color to mellow. I will be watching more closely this time. There are a few shopping cart track on the fender flairs which I'll pay for out of pocket. I don't expect to see the doors for a month or two.

My 2021 Willys JLU was done by a body shop, not the dealer. They had to do 3 doors and the hood a tailgate due to bubbling on at least one hinge on each. Sting gray paint and I came out perfect. They had it for a week.

Hinges have been approved for warranty. Today when cleaning up I found corrosion on the edge of the rear passenger door too.

Doors & hinges ordered on 2/19/24. Got a call today and scheduled for the off site paint shop on 5/20/24.

Noticed bubbles on the bottom of driver door on my 21 Nacho Gladiator 2.5 yrs into ownership. Took it to dealer and they found bubble on all 4 door hinges as well as hood hinges. They did a good job repairing it but still traded it in for a '23 Punk'n a few weeks ago.

Just a quick Poll, to see how many have/had bubbles in their paint.
If so, how long did you have it, before the bubbles appeared? Also, where on the Wrangler, did the Bubbles appear?
If not, how long have you survived, without getting any bubbles under the paint?
Out of curiosity, what color is your jeep?

2019 sting grey, I only bought it 7 months ago but I swear it was getting worse every time I looked at it, got a text the body shop started working on it today. Got approved for warranty a week after taking it in for photos, just took a couple months to get in the shop.

I hope they are replacing the doors and hood that have bubbling on the edges. Otherwise, it's gonna come back very quickly

Gotta' love that Punk'n! The fact that 62% + have paint issues is atrocious. The fact that they don't even try to repaint is very telling. Just order new panels & hinges.

No plans, I could care less about the corrosion, I beat the piss out of it wheeling and bushwacking. I just thought I'd get it fixed under warranty for free rather than take a weekend to do it myself and need to mix paint. I hate painting this type of grey it always needs a lot of colour tinting to get right.
