Top - $70 mounted - bottom $10 and 20 minutes of your time. The powder coat is a satin - gloss would be too much

Kenny:

I don't know if your intent was to solicit people's opinion for you to decide which direction, powder coating or Plastidip to take your build in. From an appearance standpoint they both look great to me.

IMHO, base your decision on your desire for permanence. Something like a tire, spinning at high speeds and getting stuff kicked up from the road into it is bound to fair better from an appearance standpoint with Powder Coating than Plastidip.

On the other hand Plastidip is (far easier) removable: both by you and the road.

Lately I've been using Herculiner on things and like to consider it a 3rd option, but you have to like the texture it creates.

It's not just for lining truck beds anymore;) https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=herculiner&rs=typed&term_meta[]=herculiner|typed
