Will we see Jeep announce and open up 2022 model year Jeep Wranglers in September? I ordered my 2019 JLUR on 9/12/2018. These are special times, but surely they are getting close.

September 1 has been the FCA model year cutover for the last decade or more, so hopefully tomorrow. PR will be up at 12:01am EDT if it's like past years. Edit: Guess they are bucking the trend. No new info on 9/1. Strange times.

Hope not - they need to focus on delivering the '21 Jeeps first!

I just spoke with my dealer regarding my 2021 392 Xtreme Rubicon and even though I had placed the order 2 weeks ago I still have no information on it at all.

I had just looked at the paperwork that I have on my current 392 Rubicon and I ordered it on 2/13/21 and it arrived on a special delivery trailer right from Ohio on 6/5/21 but I did get the VIN number roughly 2-3 weeks after I placed my order. Not sure where to turn to get more info

I'm in the process of trying to order now, and although there has been no posting of the September Order Guide, my quote reflects that Corning Glass is at $195 MSRP and $176 FWP, as opposed to $95 and $86, respectively.

Im shocked its still that cheap to be honest. Even at $495 it would be a deal. I imagine the price will end up sitting around $295

For a JLR, I paid $700 more than the Aug guide. The biggest item was the 2l engine went from -1000 to -500

Just got back from my local dealer and the GM told me he should be able to start taking orders for the '22s next week.

The Gorilla Glass was only $95.00 on my new 392 Xtreme Rubicon

I voted “I’m trolling, see my response below” because “I don’t care, I already own a jeep and don’t need another one- unless they decide to offer a 2-door with a V8 and manual transmission” wasn’t an option.

I bet I still won’t have my 21 before it’s announced…

Do you have any idea as to how long of a delivery of a 2022 392 Recon Rubicon ?

I`m just curious because I have my 392 Rubicon that I ordered on 2/13/21 and it arrived at the dealership on 6/5/21 Then it seemed like everyone else seemed to be around the same amount of build time

I have also purchased a 2021 Recon/Extreme Rubicon and I have not heard a word about it and the order was 2-3 weeks ago? My first 18 Rubicon took almost 5 months til from first notice to delivery

I am wondering when do they decide to stop making current model and then start the next year`s model. Do they wait until all of the current models are done to bare shock

No Sept order guide yet so it's got to be close. But this late in the month, we might see details announced in Sept, but ordering will probably be October. I submitted my 2021 order on 8/21. If there's no progress by the time 2022 orders open up I may cancel my 2021 and get an order in for a 22. If they offer an Xtreme Recon with 4.88s and a 6spd like was included in the original Xtreme Recon press releases it will be a done deal.
