Camping on Jebel Yibir in the Hajar Mountains

Life is short, sold everything and been full timing seven years. Once you get rid of the stuff you realize it really was just stuff. This is a great life style, get to see kids in different parts of the country and everything in-between.Nice camping combo... Once our kids are grown, I can see us doing something similar...

What awning is that? It looks very light weight.
It is the Slumberjack Roadhouse Tarp/canopy. Once you get a hang on the setup, it is awesome. You can have 3 different configurations and it withstood the strong winds well the night we camped. What awning is that? It looks very light weight.
Great shot! I am still trying to figure out the packing thing as well. Issue I have is I pull a camping trailer and some times I tent. It will all get figured out eventually!!521507[/ATTACH]
Last weekend, we arrived at our camp spot in the dark on a muddy trail south of Flagstaff and woke up to an amazing view.
We prefer to sleep in our Jeep using the Deep Sleep air mattress instead of using a roof top tent, so we try to pack minimally. Still working out all the things to bring/not to bring during each camping trip, but we are loving it so far!
Also used our Adventure Skottle from TemboTusk for the first time. Works really well, but could definitely use a wind shield for the windy conditions we had.
