Here is my daughter and I camping right on the Salt River near Apache Lake in Arizona. Had a blast as we kayaked, made Boy Scout dinner and enjoyed a great campfire. On the way home we had the opportunity to drive over a snowy pass.

That view is spectacular. Sounds like a great trip! I'm looking forward to doing some more kayaking this summer, if all goes well.

Blackwolf Turbo Tent

Very easy to erect and dismantle.
They come in many sizes. I selected the smallest one being 2.1m x 2.1m
Also the vestibule is 2.1m x 2.1 m
And I added the groundsheet for extra protection.

The tent is plenty large enough for the 2 of us.

Note there are 2 sides and one front. You can use, none of them or any one or any 2 or all 3 as you see fit.
