The Rubi comes stock with 33's and I planned on upgrading to 35's after a Mopar 2" lift. When I had my past JKUR, I did a Mopar 2" and added 35's. This time my adult son convinced me to go with 37's and for the first time in my life I'm glad I took one of his recommendations. I went with BFG KO2's and Rockstar 17" wheels.

BobK, did you have to remove the rear plastic bumper panel close-out? The piece right behind the tires, between the fender liner and bumper? Your pic looks like it was removed and I just went off-roading for the first time with my wrangler jl on 2" lift with 37" and they rubbed on that plastic piece. Really surprised me as I went on an easy trip!

Because I had installed an aftermarket bumper (JCR Offroad) I did removed that piece. But in fact, I removed that pieces as soon as installed the 37's because I had seen a video online when the JL's first came out and with 37's that was the only spot where there was rubbing at full articulation. So I installed the 37's, removed that piece, then a month or two later when to the JCR bumper which wold not have supported that piece anyway. I hope that helps.

It does help - thank you! :)

That looks awesome. Love the green! I just took those rear plastic pieces off - taking it out again next weekend so I'm hoping that solves the rub problem. I did notice now though, that the wiring in the rear bumper is now unprotected from anything that might get thrown up from the tires. Should that be a concern? (I'm brand new to the Jeep life)

My only snag is that I need to run a front license plate and can't figure out how to do that with the Flatlink.
The Warn winch plate provides for mounting a front plate

Not really. The wiring behind the aftermarket ones is only as good as you can zip tie it. The stock bumpers and wiring are built to take you where you want/need to go. All bumpers tend to catch and dirt and mud when you're out, just be sure to hose it all out when the fun is over.

Okay, good to know and thank you again! I won't worry about the wiring back there and will clean 'er out when the fun is done. :)

May be a stupid question. But I have a JLUR, adding the mopar lift and 37s. Do you need to do anything else? Longer brake lines?, drive shaft issues? And does it affect the lockers and sway bar disconnect?
No your fine except for some rubbing in the back wheel well like i showed above. Everything else is fine and will work great.

Any one have pics of JL Rubicon with 37’s x 13.5 x 20? Picking up my JL Rubicon next week and trying to decide between 37” x 12.5” or 37” x 13.5”, Planning on 3.5” lift. Smaller rim pics ok too. Thanks.
