My apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.....but it's the first time I've seen pictures of this new engine on a stand. Hopefully it won't be long till this finds it's way under a JL hood.

Will be an interesting choice when/if the Pentastar gives up the ghost in mine. For sure keeping her but will be fun to have a choice of I6, V8 or full electric conversions available by the time it happens.

Put this engine in a Rubicon unlimited (sorry I like having the extra sapce), in OD Green like the Wrangler at EJS this year, with an Xreme Recon package with 37s (4.56 or 4.88 gears) & I would order immediately & trade in my JLUR!

So, I kind of hope they don't do this, as my JLUR is almost paid for.

You're probably right!
As @Joe mentioned, I would prefer the 4.88 gears. But, if in Sting Gray (what I have), I would strongly consider (heck any nice flat color, Gobi, Anvil, something similar). But that OD green from EJS, would definitely push me over the edge.
