Any pictures of a sport or sahara with Rubicon suspension and 33s? Also, how is the ride quality compared to stock ride quality?

Hereā€™s my 2021 with rubicon takeoff from a recon, so the best springs and shocks that give the most lift. I think I got 2 inch or more. Make sure you look at part numbers because not all rubi takeoffs are created equal. Some offer more lift if they have the tow package etc. so go for a rubicon recon takeoff for most lift.

itā€™s a lot more playful and less stiff. i never realized how much the stock suspension was lacking until I did the swap. Itā€™s worlds different. I enjoy the ride much better. A buddy thats owned rubiconā€™s gave it a drive and said it rides identical to rubiconā€™s.

Here is my MY19 Sahara right after the upgrade. A guy in town was adding a ton of after market parts to his Rubi, so I scored his rims, springs and shocks, etc. for cheap! The only non-factory parts change I made was to add 1/2" spacers on the front springs to level the front rake out a bit.

I recently added longer front LCAs (about 1/4" longer than original) to get the front caster a little back in line with stock after a small death wobble experience.

The ride is stiffer, certainly! However, it is not bad at all. I noticed the change before I even got to my road on the test drive.

I don't know the spring rates on the Rubi springs, but they were all about 2 inches longer than the Sahara springs, so, I only attributed lift to that and most of the ride change to the Rubi shocks' internal valving. I don't know those details, but they are all designed to work on the same platform, so nothing would be too dramatic.

Tires are 285/70-17, which I had on about a week before I broke down and did the springs. I didn't really feel a change there, maybe a tad softer with the higher sidewalls, compare to the 18s they replaced. I run the same pressure, 36 PSI, as the Rubis at the dealership all show that on their door tags.

And, yeah, the garage was a fricking mess! I have too many toys! No, actually, I don't!

Rubicon take offs and 1/2ā€ coil spacer up front. Ride is definitely firmer over the Sport suspension which I like. I added Mopar LCA's as well for better caster.
