This past weekend on Jan. 16th - 18th, the 2020 Winter 4X4 Jamboree kicked off in Sand Hollow, Utah. With three days of guided trail rides and over 20 different trail options, it was bound to attract hundreds and hundreds of Jeeps and it didn't disappoint. I want to share the pics that I took of Gravy Train and her friends and if anybody else on the forum attended, please share as well.

I attended, my first time at Sand Hollow and Winter 4x4 event. It was well organized and the trail line up each morning was impressive. I took very few pictures but here’s some random from the event. No action pictures, the 3 & 4 rated trails I ran don’t offer any haha.

I always enjoy talking to other Jeep owners during stops. In line behind me was this LJ

This trail was easy (3 rated) and were I got the calendar/photoin up coming picture. I chose this trail because it was outside the Sand Hollow Park.

There was plenty of harder trails offered but I signed up late. All 4, 5,6 and 7 rated trails where full, maybe next year. I don’t do 8,9 and 10 trails. along with the normal minor breakages being talked about, I heard there was a roll over and a flip over backwards carnage. The horror. Only damage done on the tails I ran was to the tail gunners rig.
After last participant was spotted up an obstacle, he went a different route and ended up needing a winch and damaged the side of his rig.

Free dry camping and my rig was the only one in the upper overflow parking lot. Guess the 30 degree lows had most folks in RV parks and plugging in.

Treaflex was on one of the trails I ran and they gave out a few 2020 calendars so I snapped this pic of there JL that’s in the calendar.

All in all, I enjoyed the event. Note to self: skip the awful $21 Sat. dinner next time.
