Sort of, kinda retired....mostly
Straight from the dealership and now after 2" Mopar lift, BFG 35's and a whole lot more expensive and not-so-expensive upgrades.

I am looking at the 3.5" Rancho w/ RS900XLs really hard. From what I have read here on the forum, the Ranchos are softer than the falcons. I use my jeep as my daily driver. For me it makes sense to me to get a kit that is soft and comfortable. Though I still need it to be firm enough to be predictable on the highways. Can you give me your opinion?

I have had this lift on my JKU and now on my JLU. I like the adjustable RS9000s. Yes I also use mine as a DD and enjoy the ride on every road or highway. For me it made sense. I don't rock crawl or do a lot of "Offroading". Maybe a beach or 2 and over a curb or 3 when needed. Gives me everything I was looking for. Love the look the ride and the adjustability.
Show your's when you get it done. :fist bump:

wow…. 40” tires in NY. Looks awesome. 38” is max in NJ. I didn’t dare go over although I’m not sure how strict they are. I’m on 37”. I always wondered if they go by what is printed on the tire or the actual measure which is usually less.

I've never heard of any tire size restrictions, but at the same time, I've never bothered to check. I'm aware that my Jeep is not fitting certain technicalities like bumper heights, headlight heights, and having 3" of tire poke. Although, I've never been pulled over and my Jeep gets inspected by a shop that follows the full letter of the law, and they've never batted an eye over anything.

Only comments I've ever gotten from cops and civilians is positive complements. Plus, I'm occasionally asked if I'm a youtuber or a transplant from the Midwest or South. Long Island is filled with mostly 35's and mopar lifts, with a set of 37's here and there. Even though I've purposely avoided any flashiness, the 40's and 6" of added lift have made me stand out in public.

This was way back in 2020. I'm an inch higher now and running 38" tires with beadlocks.
