Congratulations! You will love it! First thing you will notice is just how much more refined it is when compared to a JK, and the second thing you will notice is just how well it drives on the road.

You will notice a significant difference in the way it drives. The older JKs were dogs to drive on the Highway and not suited too good for Road Trips. Drove from Long Island to Baltimore couple of times in JKU as my Rental Car and I was always tired because that thing would struggle to hold Highway Speeds on I-95 (about 75MPH or 120 KMPH). Did the same run in the JLU and it was a huge difference. That 8 speed makes it day and night. I believe it is now considered one of the best Automatics in the Automotive Industry right now.

Put up your build sheet or sticker here while you are at it and join the club! Here is my PDF build sheet from July 2019 as a reference. I got almost everything in my JLUR except for the ACC. Mine was one of the first 2020's to have rolled off the assembly line.
You paid invoice price on that Jeep? Not bad for Long Island.
Jeep dealers not very negotiable here

Ok... so my last Rubicon was a JK 2 door with a manual transmission. Loved it...and missed it dearly. I ordered a 21 Two door Rubicon with the 8 speed auto. Aside from being physed to get back into a jeep...what diffrences aside from the interior can I expect?
Your drive home from work will be about 3 times longer than the drive there. And women will chase you with their mattresses.

Yes, definitely lots of fun. I always get excited when it comes time to swap out the tops!

Everything will be way better. The brakes are great, the acceleration, the road manors. It is deff comfortable on long drives too.

Check all the glass, my rear panel driver’s glass had internal delamination “runs.”

I picked up my JLR a few weeks ago! Definitely check the fuses and push them all down. Also air down the tires! The psi in mine was 42. Dropped to 36-37 psi. I would definitely read the owners manual and get accustomed to all the fun stuff on it. Other than that have a blast!
If you'a geek like me you can read the owners manual online before you even pick-up the Jeep. It's only about 4 pages long if you skip all the warnings and safety stuff.

Be prepared for whoever "shows you how everything works" not to know how anything works. I downloaded the owners manual the same day I ordered my Jeep and I also watched quite a few videos about Uconnect on YouTube, so their lack of knowledge didn't really bother me.

I paid $54k before taxes and fees. Dealer wanted about $60k before taxes and fees. Took my Dad with me to negotiate as he is good when it comes to working with sales people. He is able to throw a target out there that is good but not unreasonable for the other party either. He threw $52k at him and we settled at $54k.

Congratz !!! I'm sure you have read the posts on this site and This may be overkill, But do a good once over and really look at the hinges on doors and hood along with tailgate hinges and under the lip of the doors for bubbles in the paint. Some have been shipped with the existing problem of oxidation under the paint and some just acquire it over time. Not all, but it is an issue.
