I have a 2018 Rubicon on which I've installed the Mopar lift, beadlock wheels on KO2 35s, and tailgate reinforcement/oversize tire kit, among other things. Do I essentially have an Xtreme Recon?
You don't have the cast steel knuckles, although I don't think I've seen an aluminum knuckle fail. Your lift kit is better than the xr suspension. You probably don't have the 4.56 gears unless you re-geared.

Yep, don't have the gears. Forgot about those.

Not sure if this is the right question for this thread..

I got my 392 delivered 2 weeks ago, I love it. But, then I heard recon package was available. Does anyone know if this package can be added after delivery?

Short story no, although the only part that wouldn’t make any sense to add is the weird bump stop extensions. There are far easier to install and better options from the aftermarket. Re-gearing is expensive, but can be done at any time. Bigger tires and a very slight lift are readily available. If you’re asking if the dealer could add the xr, no and definitely not for the cost Pre-build. To get the axles re-geared, lift, tires, tailgate support, steel knuckles, etc would likely cost you $8-10k from the dealer.

Just to clarify a couple things. The 392 with XR will be same height as non 392XR. The only change we know at this time is different shocks but same height. Also, 392 comes with steel knuckles already. 👍🏻

I’d have to say after having a 2020 rubicon, no lift…a 2021 Gladiator, Mopar lift, stock wheels & 35’s,….this feels much smoother, feels like it’s gearing is “right” or more natural, so to speak, vs the other two. I drove some short steep inclines, VERY mountainous roads, that are very twisty (many hairpin turns, etc…), and this felt very solid, not much body roll, and the brakes are strong. Although when sitting next to a stock 392 at the dealer, there was very little height difference, maybe 3/4 inch higher than the 382 , if that. Overall as comfortable as any JL I’ve driven. I’m very pleased
Wait what? You had a 2020 Rubicon, a 2021 Gladiator, and now this? Wow. Changing Jeeps every year. I had a JK for 13 years before my 2021 JL. I invest so much energy when I switch Jeeps to get it just right that it would be too draining for me to do it that often.

What is the tire PSI listed in the door jam? I presume this also matches the TPMS setting?

Thanks.
I will check this afternoon.

Yes, I’ve made a few changes recently. I could bore you with the details but I’ll spare you :)

That's great to hear. What about turning radius? I saw someone say that it wasn't as a tight non-XR, but I see that you have CV's and I've read that they turn tighter.
turning radius is nice. But I am coming from a Tacoma with a 6' bed...lmao

curious on this. The TPMS is reading 42-44 from the dealer. thinking something ain't right here. Time to call the dealer.
They always over inflate. Lower to like 32 you will be much happier driving it 👍🏻

screw the dealer; they're going to want to look at the same plaque... but J**ps are notoriously delivered with the tires over-pressure.
if you don't want to believe the plaque that's there specifically to give you the information you're looking for, RTFM. you should use your own gauge anyway. ;)
