if you have a stock Rubicon with offset wheels, please post a pic. I'd love to see the stance. And please include the offset.

Thanks in advance!

Almost ever wheel made has an offset, what are you looking for? Are you looking for a legal positive offset or a kick rocks up, destroy your paint and not pass inspection negative offset??

Close to stock. Only change is 35x12.5 tires on stock wheels with 1.5" Bora wheel spacers

Love the look!

BTW... how were you able to get those 35 x 12.5 x 17’s mounted on factory wheels? I have checked with several local tire shops, including Discount Tire. I was told the factory wheels are 1” too narrow and that it will void your tire warranty and make it unsafe to drive. I was specifically looking at the Nitto Ridge Grappler and spoke with one of their reps. I like the factory Rubi wheels and would like to save about $1500 and not purchase 5 new wheels.

I just went to a local shop that I have gone to before and asked if he could get the tires than asked if he was willing to mount them even though the wheel width is smaller than the recommended with and he said yes.

Thanks for the post. I love your wheels and tires! Thinking this look would be great on my 2020 Ocean Blue JLRU. Looks like the "-12" offset places those Nitto's about 2" past the fenders, which is the perfect look in my opinion. I see you have mud flaps for the front. Is that pretty much a necessity with the tires sticking out?

Yeah, the look is great but the mudflaps were a necessity for me. The spray from the tires is nuts. Now the sides stay clean and I can get the kids out without getting mud all over myself

Reviving this thread. I have a 2 door Rubicon and feel like I could "beef up" the look with only aftermarket wheels and keeping the 285/70r17. While I do love the look of 35's, I don't "need" 35's for any of the offroading that I do. I'd like to keep all the factory performance, MPG's, and braking capabilities.

I'm thinking specifically with a 2 door, that just putting on some offset wheels and keeping suspension/tires stock could give me what I'm looking for. I do feel like 4 doors need bigger tires to look balanced.

Did you ever go this route? I’m thinking of burning through the stock KO2’s on aftermarket wheels before getting new tires/35s.

I decided that I need to burn through the stock KO2s before upgrading to 35s. Been really happy with the look of this setup.
