I miss the power sometimes but that's really about it. The jeep is just as much fun to drive and I dont care as much about curbs or things in the road etc. In a perfect world tho I'd have both. Someday I'm sure I'll pick one up again but I love driving jeeps.

Had a yj a tj and 2 jk in the past so I was already familiar with them but even still I had to get use to the lack of precision in the steering and watching my speed around corners more.

I appreciate all the comments on my original question, but I wish I would have phrased it more clearly in the context of "if you had to pick one or the other". The people with the comments of "I have both" are my idols, but are kind of "cheating" with the feedback I'm looking for LOL ;)
OK, I won't post pics or get into what else I have, but will leave it at being blessed to be able to have more than one vehicle. But that was not always the case, and even now with different types of vehicles in my "stable", I would suggest you consider that as most have noted, driving a Jeep Wrangler is a special and unique experience (isn't that why we always wave at other Jeepers?), but when those times hit you that you want to drive something more sporty or powerful or just different - go rent something. So many car rental companies now rent specialty vehicles from Beamers to Teslas to pickups to whatever, that when you get the urge, rent one for a day and kick it out. As noted, I do have different vehicles I can drive, but recently kept seeing convertible Mustangs being driven by tourists around the Lake, so stopped by the Enterprise rental office when I saw a 'Stang convertible sitting out front waiting to be rented, and come to find out it was 5.0 GT! Got it for $90/day and had a blast with the top down and listening to that exhaust Got my "fix" for the month, and it didn't cost what buying another vehicle would!
(BTW - and I am not associated with them - Enterprise will pick you up from your house or even campground should you be near one, so that just makes it all the more enticing to rent something for a day now and then!)

I consider myself a spirited driver. I daily drive a G8 and absolutely love it! It’s paid for, so now the Jeep is my car payment. I love it too. But I don’t think I could give up a car. In New England, there’s not much off roading. But quick acceleration and corner carving is any road you want it to be. I say enjoy your wife’s Jeep and your car.
So far I am leaning that way. Thanks for your opinion. My father would have said the same thing. It is clearly the most sensible ! I gotta get past this insanity.

I can say I miss the speed of the vet, but the JL is so much fun to drive with friends. I love taking the doors off. Plus the C8 just came out, so I feel like the JL needs a red big brother :)

I like be better, but hate white. Except in the c7, white just looks good with the black trim! C8 is going to be awesome! I always get my vetted used, but definitely looking forward to them as long as they hold up as well as c5 thru c7 has.

When I bought my JLU, I decided to keep my A4 convertible. It has the 3.2 engine, s line package and Quattro. It is a lot of fun to drive. I’ve driven it a handful of times since I got the Wrangler back in November last year. Just love driving the wrangler.

2013 911 C4S to Rubicon. No regrets. Still have a Ferrari 330GT, an MG-TC, and a Lotus Mk6 for fast-ish fun. The cost of ownership of the Porsche post-warranty eliminated any fondness for the car. My 7th Porsche and last German car. The problem with the Porsche id=s that a 30mph marked curve can be taken at 60........unless it can’t. No runoff, etc.

Jeep is more fun.

They're so different that i did not want to get rid of my E46 ZHP. The JL gets a lot of love and it's super fun to drive this time of year with top fully off and also be able to enjoy today's technology, with apple car play, awesome Alpine stereo, big screen/nav, etc, but i would miss not having a sporty ride. The 6spd shifts wonderfully, handles superbly and the inline 6 sings a beautiful tune that i just did not want to give up.

Hope to add to the stable some day and i'm targeting a Lotus Elise as the next purchase and i told the wife it can't be too long from now because i don't want to be too old to be able get in it and i'm crossing the 40 year mark later this year.

I do not regret it in the slightest.
