Pedal extenders …anyone?

Asked this in another thread. Got the below response. Not really a great idea to sit too close to the steering wheel for safety reasons. Has anyone tried to install pedal extenders in a Jeep Wrangler ?
Wife really wants a Wrangler…

So in a sudden twist of fate…
The wife has been looking at getting a new vehicle, a hydro blue Jeep two door. Started looking at inventory and ordering options, signed up for Tread Lightly!, been searching on here for info… And then she tried test driving mine - and found out she can’t reach the pedals without moving the seat ridiculously close to the steering wheel (she is only 5’0”)! Oh no! I suppose pedal extenders “could” be an option…?
How do smaller females drive these things?

with seat pulled all the way forward!

Any thoughts? Experience / solutions here?

I didn’t realize that pedal extenders were a thing. Did she try different height adjustments as well as fore and aft?

My wife is 5’1” and she doesn’t sit much closer than I do at 5’9”.

The solution is to steer your wife to another vehicle.

My wife is 5’1” and she doesn’t sit much closer than I do at 5’9”.

Yeah we tried forwards, backwards, up, down, tilt, un-tilt…. She can’t push the pedals without her foot being up off the floor.

Aren't pedal extenders pretty universal?

I mean skinny pedal, wide pedal, pretty much the same in most vehicles.

That’s odd. My wife is 5’2”. She sits closer than I do but not all the way forward. I don’t know of any pedal extenders, but if you do go that route be darn sure they are “solidly” mounted-one moving or slipping could be a disaster.
