I think my former dealer has everyone beat on doc fees..$785! So, on top of not dealing, they had ridiculous doc fees.

Sounds like the Naples-Fort Myers area, Trina. I'm dealing with the same thing here (SWFL).
It would be nice to have the Attorney General grab these dealers by the horns and stop this garbage. Jeep gives the Vets a break and the dealers take all of it and more in dealer fees.

Bay Jeep in Panama City and Hill Kelly in Pensacola will not go a dollar below MSRP. Is anyone seeing this anywhere else?

Bay Jeep has had 4 JLs for over a month and they have not moved. They don’t seem like they are in a hurry to sell them.
I got 6% below invoice at Tyson motors in Chicago

I live in jacksonville and travel for my job. I visited just about every dealer within 200 miles including bay jeep, and found the same thing. I ended up getting an incredible deal at the local dealer after a friend pulled a favor, but he is willing to do 3% under invoice plus $500 more for active or retired military if you want. I can’t say enough about how good the experience has been so far compared to the clowns I dealt with everywhere else.
Wow you found someone in Jax to do that? I can't stand any of the dealers here, tried to buy my JK locally and they were not interested in even getting me to invoice. I ended up going to Orlando to Fields Jeep and it was the best buying experience I've ever had, right at 3% under invoice on my order and they made a great trade offer.

To the OP. I have gone through Milton DCJ for my 6 Jeeps. I ordered a JLUR from Ridge Chambers/Steve Webb for @ 4% under invoice. Now, I'm not saying he will do the same, but they are willing to work a deal below invoice. Tell them Popovich sent you.

I am paying $5,222 under MSRP. 6% below invoice. 11% below MSRP.

I expect dealer stock to cost a little more than an order. This will be true for quite a while. Most people want instant gratification and don't want to wait for an order. Supply and demand is king.
Where did you buy? Looking for a dealer in the Bay Area...

Do you by chance work for a large company? If so, you may want to see if you qualify for the Chrysler Advantage program.

I work for an I/T company and yet, I qualified for their program which gives me invoice pricing on the JL. Any dealer will accept this since they receive a special kickback from FCA.
Assuming you can get past the moronic sales people who will tell you to piss off when you ask for it. Some dealers don't care and just flat out won't sell below sticker. Dealer policy.

I almost got stuck paying MSRP($54,895). I just recently returned from overseas and was caught in the excitement of getting my first Jeep. I couldn't find any good deals in the Dallas area. Salesmen claiming they were all charging sticker price and no deals were currently being offered. The ordering and pricing thread on here saved me A LOT of money. My first order (1/16) has already been built but has been swallowed by the inspection sloths like a few other orders. I found the thread with recommended dealers Including Koons in Virginia and Kim in Arkansas. I went with Mark Gusman in Houston. In Dallas my out the door price including TTL was $59,000. Mark in Houston got me a deal of $49,467 sales price, and my out the door price including TTL is $53,000. Shop around, use the forums, don't pay MSRP.

Mike,
I am buying from Hill Kelly and they did not budge below MSRP. This forum introduced me to Tread Lightly which got the 1% below invoice. I will then use the $500 voucher from FCA. My Granite Rubi arrived in Birmingham today and should be here Friday. After I have it, I will then apply to get the $500 "Bonus Drive". Thanks again to this forum, it has saved me serious bucks! I know if I travel to Atlanta, Jax, Nashville, etc, to buy a car, I will end up spending more than I save since I would most likely have a too good of a time. PM me if you need more details! Happy to help!

Uhmmmm the dealership is 2hrs from my house. Doc fee is $80 (California's max).

Tax/reg is not relevant - we are talking about the invoice price. But if you must know, my tax will be at $3,516, and DMV fees are at $537. I won't step foot into a DMV - the dealership handles all of that.

I am financed at Langley Federal Credit Union at 2% APR.

And negative - the deal is in writing and signed.

You are literally wrong on every front, negative nancy! Good try though. Good try.
Welllll, he DID spell your name right! That's at least worth something, right? :)

I posted two days ago (I think) in the recommended dealers list about Beck Jeep’s new offer. They are located in Palatka, Fl. Good luck :)
