A local shop is suggesting 35" Patriot R/T tires. Have never heard of them and can't find any posts here. Feedback?

Don’t buy off brand, imported tires. So what if you save a couple hundred bucks, they probably wont last as long as a quality set. Go with a tire that has a good reputation. The name Patriot seems misleading. The advertising leads you to believe they are American but their tires are made in East Asia, Thailand and Taiwan.

Good doesn’t mean expensive either. Look at General, Firestone, Cooper, Falken even Hercules. Some here will probably mention other brands.

Aren't Patriot tires imported by those guys on "Diesel Brothers" show? I thought they were designing some before Utah decided to give them a crap ton of fines for illegal modifications to diesel emissions. Could be wrong.

Don't the Chinese copy almost everything and try to pass it off as their own?
LOL, they sure do but in all fairness it's usually some American entrepreneur who commissions it and imports it and at a substantial cost savings there is a market for these copycats.

Originally then a Chinese company ripped off the pattern and name. The Diesel Brothers stopped making tires due to this and have have nothing to do with the current Patriots.
