Evenin' All,

I'm about to receive the Mopar Passive Entry Drivers Side kit for my '21 Sport S. I read about it from another forum member and jumped on board. There was a 45 day back order from Mopar and it looks like it shipped today. I'm anxious to have a look-see. From the looks of things it might (fingers crossed) be plug-and-play, but 50/50. Here's what the description says:
  • This kit is not plug n play for all Sport models.
  • For Sport models, the customer will need to visually inspect the driver side connector. If the necessary wiring is missing, a custom wiring modification is required. Please reference the image here for more information.
This is one thing I wish I could have gotten from factory (love our other car's ability to just have the keys in pocket and reach for the door handle to unlock) but in '21 you had to do the dual door group to get it, which was a non starter for me. I'm not a super experienced wiring guy and wondering if anyone has been through this upgrade. If so - can you offer any tips or tricks.

Many thanks in advance.
Peace, JBC

Curious if you got the passive entry to work.

Thanks,

Tom
Hi Tom,
I haven't had time yet. Looking for a warm Saturday afternoon to spread out in the garage and take my time. I'll update this when I do though.
