Literally heard it hit the ground. Got out and there it was. Does any one have any idea what this could be from? Says 477AA on it but nothing on google for JL parts. Just TJ stuff.


I looked around underneath but couldn’t find any hoses missing a clamp. Must have come from engine bay.

Were you moving when you heard it, or just stationary? Basically, can you feel pretty sure it came from engine area? Looks like a hose or wire clamp to me that came unbolted.

Were you moving when you heard it, or just stationary? Basically, can you feel pretty sure it came from engine area? Looks like a hose or wire clamp to me that came unbolted.
I was moving so I can’t be certain. I’ve checked all over under neath and can’t find any hoses or lines missing anything. Including the e brake cables which are the only ones big enough to fit in those gaps

I’d say maybe transmission cooling lines clamp. The auto has some cooling lines running into it.

I have a manual transmission. I checked all the brackets in the linkage etc. nothing. Iv also driven about 100miles since it’s fallen off

I'm going under there in the morning to check and torque that bolt! Thanks for the heads-up! Glad you noticed it. Probably not critical, but there certainly is a reason it is there.
